Samba Acquires Bestever AI to Accelerate the Future of Agentic Advertising
The future of advertising isn’t just automated, it’s autonomous. And it will be guided by real data and performance.
While the industry rushes toward workflow automation and black-box engines, Samba is making a contrarian bet. Unlike our peers, we are focusing on the signals. Generic model-driven strategies can’t match the power of agents built on first-party data at scale. We believe the quality of context and data that feeds the AI will make all the difference in driving outcomes.
To accelerate our mission, we’re thrilled to announce that Samba has acquired Bestever AI, a GenAI advertising platform founded in 2023. We welcome founder and CEO Apoorva Govind, who joins us as Director of Product to lead our AI product strategy, along with the full Bestever team. Bestever built technology that researches brands, develops competitive strategy, and generates creatives driven by real performance data. Apoorva, formerly of Uber and Apple, founded Bestever AI with the backing of leading investors such as Audacious Ventures, Offline Ventures, A16Z & F7 Ventures.
Now they’re joining Samba, a company that has built out deterministic signals from 1.5 billion opted-in users globally. Samba has an unparalleled, objective view of how real people stream video, watch linear TV, research topics online, and behave across every screen. Insights that even the biggest walled gardens simply don’t have.
Samba uses those signals to deploy a true agentic engine for the entire media ecosystem. This includes autonomously delivering actionable analytics and optimizing campaigns in real time against the open and closed internet. What used to take entire data science teams months to bridge with complex methods, Samba can now execute in minutes.
The acquisition of Bestever AI accelerates Samba’s agentic roadmap and brings us closer to our vision of independent media intelligence that is grounded in accurate data at massive scale.
The work starts now.
